Course Description: Ethics is the study of right and wrong. This course examines six major approaches to ethics, three Christian, and three non-Christian, with emphasis placed on the former. It then reviews several hotly debated ethical issues in our society, including abortion, capital punishment, euthanasia, homosexuality, pacifism/war, and divorce and remarriage. Extensive classroom discussion and debates are used to supplement lecture material. Students are encouraged to think critically and search the Scriptures to decide for themselves what is or is not ethical.
