Developing A Family Ministry

This course explores the biblical principles of developing ministries targeting families. Students will study the core essentials of pastoring and parenting in order to strengthen the family. The course will address issues concerning ADD, drug use, discipline, character development, sibling rivalry, music, and relevant topics families face today. Students will emerge from this course with a plan for raising kids along with skills to develop a church-wide strategy.

This is a directed study course: the instructor will develop the course of study with the student including instruction, related experiential activities, and assessment of learning outcomes for this course. Students will take this course at a distance but are welcome to join the class via video conference (i.e., Skype or FaceTime).  Face-to-face interaction with the instructor is also encouraged.
